Types of software piracy

CD-R infringement	it is the illegal copying of software using a CD-R recording device and the distrubuting many copies to friends
Internet infringement	The illegal uploading of software onto the interent available for download by anyone
Softlifting	when a person purchases a single copy and loads the software onto numerous machines
Hard-disk loading	When an individual/company sells computers containing illegal software
Counterfeiting	Making numerous unauthorized copies of software and selling them as the real product

There are many more types of piracy, however one thing shows true, software piracy is rank among the internet world and is causing huge finacial losses towards software companies. New and tougher rules have been imposed to stem the flow of piracy but as technology continues to improve, so does the skill and sophistication of software piracy.
